Dr. Allison Williams Naturopathic Doctor

Naturopathic Medicine

Assessing your health, finding the root cause, and utilizing conventional and alternative therapies to provide optimal care.

Hello there! I’m so glad you are here.

I’m Dr. Williams, the doctor behind Williams Naturopathic Consulting. It’s my job to get you feeling better. Moreover, get you feeling amazing. Life is too short to not feel your best and your health is truly where it all starts.

Life is for living! Living fully.

My role is simply to help you heal yourself. Yes, it’s true. In the end, it’s you that does the work. I’m just here to guide you. And, I like to think, that as you get closer to more optimal health and closer to who you love being—then you are more able to enjoy the world around you. You interact with the world differently and that in turn spreads to others. It’s a beautiful ripple effect of positive change.

Our enjoyment for life stems from a variety of things. What is enjoyment of life for you?

Here is one perspective—

A body that moves well and has vibrant energy. A brain that builds good thoughts and extrapolates possibility and forward movement whether that’s in work/business, play, creative pursuits, etc. A mind that is quick, focused, contented, more often prone to happiness than depression. An immune system with vitality that bolsters the proper response in the face of infection. A body well-connected with mind and spirit. Overall wellness that allows you to think, do, and experience life freely.

This is the goal. This is what we are aiming for. Don’t you agree?

If you’ve never met a Naturopathic Doctor (ND) before, sometimes it’s confusing to figure out what exactly it is that we do. For one, not all NDs are the same. But, us not being the same is part of our power as naturopathic doctors. We are trained to individualize care. Each patient is unique, therefore each assessment and plan is unique.

But, if you’re here, you’re likely wondering how I take care of my patients. You’re wondering if Williams Naturopathic Consulting is the place for you. If any of the above has resonated with you—you are likely in the right place. I will take good care of you. While I can never guarantee I will have all the answers, I can guarantee that I will doggedly investigate your health concerns. I take great pride in my pursuit of “figuring it out.” It’s part of why I became a doctor. And, I will pursue the answer so long as you are willing to do the work of getting healthier along the way.

My practice is primarily Primary Care but I work with numerous chronic illnesses. But, it’s integrative primary care, so I combine the best of both modern medicine and naturopathic therapies. After my 4-year naturopathic medical program, I completed a 2-year CNME approved general medicine residency at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, and have spent over 300 hours shadowing an emergency medicine physician to ensure a firm knowledge of conventional medicine. Common health conditions seen relate to Women’s Health, Gastrointestinal Disease, and Autoimmune Disease but I truly work with all sorts of health conditions.

In addition to practicing medicine I also love to teach! I've taught botanical medicine at SCNM, am a biology lab instructor at Grand Canyon University, and teach anatomy & physiology at Coconino Community College.
