 MEET DR. WILLIAMS ND

Hello, I am Dr. Allison Williams, a licensed Naturopathic Physician. I attended Naturopathic medical school in Tempe, AZ at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) where I am completing my second year of general medicine residency. I completed my undergraduate work at Texas A&M where I received a B.S. in Psychology. In addition to residency, I teach botanical medicine and run a student rotation where I educate and train medical students.

I am passionate about healthcare and love being a physician- it combines my love of science, interest in helping people work through challenges, as well as, appreciation for a strong focus on clinical investigation.

Having experienced Naturopathic Medicine first-hand in healing from my own autoimmune disease, I am grateful that I am able to use my struggle to help my patients. I’ve found experiencing chronic illness myself has allowed me to bring a level of understanding in the patient-doctor relationship I wouldn’t otherwise have.

When working with me, I will thoroughly investigate your case. Your first visit is typically an hour to an hour and a half where I will spend time learning about you and your health concerns. First, I utilize screening labwork, which I will then walk you through, helping you to understand how your body is functioning. When necessary, I use specialty lab testing to further assess hormone function, inflammatory markers, gastrointestinal function, allergies, and other factors, which may be impacting to your health.
